Easy for Karnataka colts

Bangalore: Karnataka under-19 captain Sunil Raju (54 n.o.) along with K.L. Rahul (50 n.o.) guided his team to a seven-wicket victory over New South Wales under-19 here on Monday. NSW u-19 scored 185 in 43.1 overs and Karnataka u-19 won in 36.5 overs.

In another match earlier on Sunday, the New South Wales u-19 women’s team defeated Karnataka women’s XI by eight wickets.

The scores:

New South Wales u-19 185 in 43.1 overs (Nick Maddinsom 41) lost to KSCA u-19 XI U 186 for three in 36.5 overs (Sunil N. Raju 54 n.o., K.L. Rahul 50 n.o.).

KSCA womens’ XI 147 in 48.4 overs (V.R. Vanitha 48) lost to New South Wales u-19 womens’ team 148 for two in 25.4 overs (Clare Koshi 68).
