Man killed as truck overturns

Bangalore: A cleaner of a ready-mix concrete truck died when the truck he was travelling overturned on Bangalore-Mysore Road on Monday evening. The victim has been identified as Ashok Kumar (30).

The police said that the accident occurred when driver of the truck, travelling from Kengeri to Mariappanapalya, lost control over the vehicle while taking a steep turn. The cleaner of the truck died on the spot and the truck driver, also Ashok Kumar (30), was taken out of the truck after amputating his leg.
