"This is the first time we have conducted such raids during this season and the colleges holding such classes will be liable to cancellation of their permission for the year," he said. None of the colleges would be allowed to conduct any kind of classes from May 7 onwards and till then only the classes for students appearing EAMCET would be allowed. The institutions which were raided on on Monday were Sri Chaitanya main campus, Sri Chaitanya Devapuram, Vijayawada GPL Gowtham College, and Nalanda College of Brundavan Colony. The surprise checks would be continued till May 7, he said. He also appealed to students not to go to colleges before June 2 and cooperate with the Government.
