Two killed in accident

VISAKHAPATNAM: Two persons were killed and another severely injured in a road accident at Bayyavaram near Anakapalle town in the wee hours of Monday.

M. Jayakrishna, 26, his sister Madhavilatha, 27, her husband Vamsi Krishna and their four-year-old son Nikhil were going in a car from Vijayawada to Salur. Jayakrishna was driving the car while his sister was sitting on the front seat. Her husband and their son were on the rear seat. The car hit a stationary lorry on the main road near the railway station. Jayakrishna and Madhavilatha were killed on the spot. Vamsi Krishna sustained a head injury while their son escaped with simple injuries.

Kasimkota in charge SI S. Vidyasagar is investigating the case.
