VISAKHAPATNAM: About 35 school students were taken ill after consuming mid-day meal in Ramaiahpatnam village, near Nakkapali, about 50 km from here on Monday. Sources said the students of Mandal Parishad Primary School in S. Rayavaram mandal developed nausea, stomach ache and giddiness after they had chicken curry in their mid-day meal. They went to their homes after school hours and were later shifted to government hospital at Nakkapali with vomiting and dysentery. It is said the coordinator of mid-day meal programme in the school had cooked chicken curry on Sunday night and served it on Monday.
