Woman ‘kills’ husband

Mohammed Nizam, a 42-year-old man, was allegedly murdered by his wife Vimala at Fatehnagar on Sunday night. Vimala killed Nizam by smashing his head with a pestle as she was unable to bear his torture. Vimala surrendered at the Sanathnagar police station after committing the crime.

Newly-wed woman commits suicide

A newly-married woman hanged herself to death at her residence in Humayunnagar on Sunday. Police said Shanti, 30, took the drastic step after a quarrel with her husband Vincent over a domestic issue. Her marriage was held a month ago.
