Hat-trick by Sankaralingam

CHENNAI: P. Sankaralingam took four wickets, including a hat-trick, to help Adventnet beat Impigre Technologies by six wickets in the Seventymm Corporate Twenty20 cricket tournament, being organised by V.S. Sports Network.

HCL 107 in 18.4 overs (Murali four for six) bt Club Mahindra 99 for nine in 20 overs (Madhav Narasiman three for 19).

TNT 110 for nine in 20 overs (V.S. Guhan 36, Abey four for 18, Karthik three for 11) bt HP 72 in 14.4 overs (Lynfeid four for 17).

HP 137 for four in 19 overs (Kasala 42 n.o.) bt Big 92.7 FM 125 for four in 19 overs (Balaji 34 n.o., Suresh 30).

Infosys 111 in 19.3 overs (Henry 27, Rajaraman three for 11) lost to Aircel 112 for six in 19.5 overs (Rajaraman 53 n.o.).

Kedar CA ‘B’ posts win

Kedar CA ‘B’ defeated J.S. Rao by five wickets in the Kedar’s Pearls Trophy under-11 cricket tournament here on Monday.

The scores: Kedar CA ‘A’ 207 for two in 25 overs (G. Viswanathan 25, S. Sankar 29, Harishwar 51, Pranav 37 n.o.) bt Kedar’s CA ‘C’ 98 for nine in 25 overs (M. Sudharsan 28, Shashank three for eight).

J.S. Rao 102 for four in 25 overs (Sharath 25, Druv 27 n.o.) lost to Kedar ‘B’ 103 for five in 24.4 overs (Nikul Anand 25).

Mohan bats well

Mohan Babu (82) starred in VBCA’s win over FSCA in a league match in the IOB-Lions Club Under-16 cricket tournament.

The scores:

VBCA 149 for eight in 20 overs (Mohan Babu 82, Aditya 43, Surya three for 14) bt FSCA 138 for eight in 20 overs (Raghav 34, Viren 30).

CSSF 117 for seven in 20 overs (Abhishek 41, Kunal Madan 39) lost to TE-IPL CA 118 for one in 11.1 overs (Ganga 54, B. Aparajith 54).

Muralikrishnan shines

P.S. Muralikrishnan’s six for 45 enabled Blue Bird edge Venugopal by a wicket in a second division contest of the Kancheepuram DCA cricket league held here recently.

T.K. Janakiraman’s knock (118 not out) went in vain as Brindavan lost to Krishnaraj by one wicket in a first division match.
