Future Stars wins title

CHENNAI: Man-of-the-match A. Venketesh scored 52 to help Future Stars Cricket Academy defeat Chennai St. Bede’s Sports Foundation by seven wickets and win the TVH Cup under-13 cricket tournament.

The score (final): Chennai St. Bede’s Sports Foundation 124 for seven in 30 overs (B. Nishanth 27) lost to FSCA 125 for three in 27.3 overs (A.Venketesh 52, G. Karthik 24).

Awards: Best batsman: Mukunt (Prahalad CA); Best bowler: S. Tarun (FSCA); Best all-rounder: P. Nishanth (CSSF); Promising cricketers: S. Lokeshwar (CSSF) and Rameesh Raja (TE-IPL); Man of the tournament: G. Karthik (FSCA).
