Panel to probe lapses at Eden

Kolkata: The West Bengal government on Monday constituted a three-member committee to probe mismanagement in the Eden Gardens during the Indian Premier League match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Deccan Chargers on Sunday night.

Announcing the decision, the State Sports Minister Subhas Chakraborty said the committee would look into the reasons for the disruption in power supply which had halted the match for 31 minutes and also the non-availability of adequate drinking water. — PTI
