Young man shot at

NEW DELHI: A 38-year-old registered bad character was shot at and grievously injured at Kalyanpuri here on Sunday night. According to the police, Manoj alias Bhima was taking a stroll near his house around 9-30 p.m. when an unidentified man fired at him twice. The assailant then sped away on a motorcycle. Manoj was admitted to Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital and operated upon in the morning. He is now said to be out of danger. Manoj is involved in over a dozen cases of attempt to murder, dacoity, robbery and under Arms Act, the police said.
