Workshop on planning

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Academic Staff College of the University of Kerala will host a two-day workshop on ‘Strategic Planning’ on April 29 and 30.

The programme seeks to address the needs of principals of colleges to meet challenges in higher education and facilitate reform in higher education through appropriate modification of management systems at various levels.

The main purpose of the programme is to introduce the concept of strategic planning and use its tools in their respective institutions.

Minister for Education M.A. Baby will inaugurate the workshop at 10 a.m. on April 29.

Vice-chairman of the University Grants Commission Mool Chand Sharma will be the guest of honour and will deliver the keynote address.
