Woman found dead

MALAPPURAM: A woman was found dead at her house at Muttikkdavu near Edakkara in the district on Tuesday afternoon.

Saleena, 36, wife of Kochupurakkal Thekkethil Delby belonging to Muppalipotti, was found dead with her neck slit inside her house.

The police arrested her neighbour Chacko, 31, in connection with the incident.

Mr. Chacko was arrested from his hideout in the evening.

The police said that the woman was killed around 2.30 p.m. when her son was watching television and her father-in-law was sleeping in his room. — Staff Reporter
