Mill workers arrested

KARAIKAL: More than 300 workers of the Jayaprakash Narain Co-operative Spinning Mill here in the Union Territory of Puducherry were arrested on Tuesday for resorting to a road roko agitation pressing their demands, including pay rise, increment and other facilities. The workers alleged that the mill authorities did not increase their salaries for the past few years.
