Medininagar (Jharkhand): Five persons, three of them members of a rival Maoist outfit, were killed in separate incidents in Jharkhand’s Palamu district, a senior police officer said on Tuesday. Three persons were abducted from Dera village and later shot dead at Jhargada under Hussainabad police station yesterday, Superintendent of Police Deepak Verma said. The CPI (Maoist) suspected the five of being sympathisers of a rival outfit. While two persons were identified as Ramashis Paswan and Yogesh Paswan, the identity of the third was still not known.
