Protest against privatisation

BERHAMPUR: The MKCG Medical College unit of the Orissa Medical Workers’ Union (OMWU) protested against the process of privatisation of cleaning of the medical college on Tuesday.

They submitted a memorandum with a charter of 11 demands to the Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC), southern division. The secretary of the union, Sukanta Mukhi, said the privatisation process would mar the livelihood of sanitary workers employed in the medical college till now.
