Only Left can protect the poor: Yechury

BAGEPALLI: The Left parties alone can protect the interests of the poor people in the country, Sitaram Yechury, Communist Party of India (Marxist) Polit Bureau member, has said.

Addressing a gathering of CPI(M) activists after party candidate G.V. Sriram Reddy filed his nomination papers here on Monday, Mr. Yechury exhorted people to defeat communal forces in the Assembly elections. — Staff Correspondent
