Sanskrit varsity offers P-G diploma in yoga

TIRUPATI: Tirupati-based Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSVP) will be offering a post-graduate diploma course on ‘Yoga Therapy and Stress Management’ from the academic year 2008-09.

This makes the Vidyapeetha the first ever Sanskrit university in the country to offer a course . Accepting the proposal submitted by the varsity, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has sanctioned an amount of Rs.49 lakh for the course.
