Was Subbaiah an MLA?

Special Correspondent

BANGALORE: The BJP website is not without factual errors. While narrating the party history, the website refers to the experience of its former leader, A.K. Subbaiah, in the “Assembly”, though the veteran leader was member of the Legislative Council.

Interestingly, the website has a link on Hindutva. This is part of the main link titled “philosophy.” In the Hindutva link, the party describes Hindutva as Cultural Nationalism. It also says that “Hindutva is a nationalist, and not a religious or theocratic, concept.”
