Anti-Cola relay hunger strike

PALAKKAD: K.P. Radhakrishna Menon, judge, on Tuesday, inaugurated a 48-hour relay hunger strike, organised by the Coca-Cola Virudha Samara Samithi, in front of Hindustan Coca-Cola Ltd. at Plachimada. A solidarity meet calling for cultural boycott of the company and its products will be inaugurated by Medha Patkar, environmentalist, on Thursday. The agitation in front of the company entered the seventh year on Tuesday. — Staff Reporter
