CSSF, TE-IPL in final

CHENNAI: Chennai St. Bede’s Sports Foundation (CSSF) and TE-IPL Cricket Academy registered exciting semifinal wins to set up a title clash in the under-16 IOB-Lions Club cricket tournament.

CSSF defeated Kedar CA in a bowl-out after the scores were tied, while TE-IPL CA edged past Prahalad CA by a run.

The scores (semifinals):

Kedar CA 130 for six in 20 overs (Sasi Dev 51 n.o.) lost to CSSF 130 for four in 20 overs (Aparajit 40, Inderjit 36, Leonardbruno 29 n.o.). CSSF won on bowl-out.

TE-IPL CA 135 for seven in 20 overs (Abhishek Mehra 63) bt Prahalad CA 134 for seven in 20 overs (Seshank 35, Suraj 44).
