Health awareness camps held

Rampachodavaram: Health awareness camps were conducted in Bodlagandi, Tallapalem and Anantagiri villages in Rajavommangi mandal on Tuesday and Wednesday by Geetha, an NGO.

Project director of Geetha K. Stevenson asked tribals not to neglect their health, particularly dreaded ones like HIV/AIDS and TB. He enlightened them on how to maintain personal hygiene.

He said that health workers of Geetha would offer medical assistance as well as advise people in interior tribal villages.

He distributed clothes to the poor and rice to the aged and widows.

Medical camp was also conducted in the above villages.
