Domain School of Communication starts new venture for graduates and undergraduates
Kakinada: Domain School of Communication (DSC) started a new venture called ‘Yuva Mitra’, which is aimed at imparting skills required to graduates and undergraduates to enable them to secure jobs in reputed companies.
Heartening scenario
Hitherto, Domain’s concentration was on engineering and finance professionals, but the change in its focus was prompted by the rapidly increasing demand, particularly for graduates possessing good communication and basic computer skills. Similarly, the opportunities for those who passed Intermediate course and having the requisite skills were expanding.
DSC managing director A. Vamsi Kiran told reporters here on Wednesday that under Yuva Mitra, call-centre training would be imparted to Intermediate and degree qualified students and basics in computers to those who completed 10th and Intermediate.
Retail management
Training in retail management would be given to graduates and skills required by the manufacturing industries would be taught to ITI and diploma holders.
DSC would also provide placements to those who successfully completed the courses offered by it and to all those registered with it. The fee payable for anyone of the courses is Rs. 500.
