CPI (M) raps BSNL

Sangareddy: Communist party of India (Marxist) Medak committee on Tuesday organised a dharna in front of the BSNL district office here demanding completion of pending works in the district and better coverage and connectivity. Addressing the gathering, district secretariat member K. Rajaiah alleged that towers which were built years ago in Kondapur, Regode, Sirgapur, Nagilgidda, Manoor, Nyalkal, Kolcharam and in many others places were not given connections and in many places fabrication was incomplete. He attributed the migration of mobile phone users to private service providers to lack of proper coverage by the public sector giant. BSNL Medak general manager Kiran Kumar has assured the CPI(M) activists that he would see to it that the construction of all the towers would be completed within three months.
