‘Trans-Yamuna to catch up with S. Delhi’

NEW DELHI: DPCC president J. P. Agarwal on Wednesday said the gap between the Capital’s trans-Yamuna area and South Delhi would soon be bridged as a number of development projects are going on in East Delhi. Speaking at a meeting in Krishna Nagar which was also attended by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, Mr. Agarwal said several new flyovers, community centres, beautification of parks and various civic amenities would be provided in the run-up to the Games in 2010.
