Projects in two phases

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Local Administration Department has directed the Local Self-Government Institutions (LSGIs) to prepare the Plan projects for 2008-09 in two phases. Projects on agriculture, housing, drinking water, sanitation, education, health, power and maintenance works will have to be prepared according to stipulations of decentralised planning in the first phase.
Local Administration Minister Paloli Mohammed Kutty said civic bodies would have to prepare the complete annual Plan in the second phase. In the first year of the Plan, facility for data entry was provided at block panchayat, municipality, corporation and district planning offices to key in the details of the Plan documents.
