New ordinance

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A meeting of higher officials, chaired by Revenue Minister K.P. Rajendran here on Wednesday, decided to bring an ordinance to provide for punishment to those using forged documents to claim ownership of land. The ordinance will specify fine and imprisonment for those who encroach upon land and forge documents to secure land.
