BHOPAL: Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi had promised to extend help for the marriage of a girl named Kamlabai when he spent time with a poor tribal family in Vaisa Taparian village in Tikamgarh district of Madhya Pradesh last week. However, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan virtually stole the initiative from the Congress leader on Tuesday morning when the District Collector visited Vaisa Taparian and gave Rs.20,000 to the family of Kamlabai, in the presence of the village Sarpanch, from the CM’s discretionary fund.
