IIPM convocation today

BANGALORE: The convocation of Indian Institute of Plantation Management (IIPM) will be held on Thursday at the Raj Bhavan Banquet Hall. The IIPM is an autonomous organisation promoted by the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

A release said that the convocation would be presided over by the Upa Lokayukta G. Patri Basavana Goud and the Managing Director of Tata Coffee, M.H. Ashraff, will deliver the convocation address. The students of postgraduate diploma in Agri-Business and Plantation Management of 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 batches would be awarded certificates on the occasion. The PGD in Agri-Business and Plantation Management provides management education to the entrants in the plantation and associated agri-business sector.
