BANGALORE: The Credit Card Holders’ Association of India (CCHAI), in association with the Financial Customers’ Association, will organise a seminar on “Human Rights and Role of Banks in India”, in Bangalore on April 26. Addressing presspersons here on Wednesday, CHAI President B.N. Manjunath said the seminar would discuss the various problems of credit card holders and those who have availed themselves of personal, vehicle and housing loans from banks. The seminar would also focus on illegal methods used by banks to recover loans. Karnataka State Human Rights Commission Chairman Justice S.R. Nayak will inaugurate the seminar to be held at Kannada Bhavan. Karnataka High Court Judge V. Gopala Gowda and professor of Banking Law M.M. Kini would participate in the seminar, he said.
