Hospital starts Ayurveda unit

Thiruvananthapuram: An Ayurveda division has started functioning at the Ananthapuri Hospitals and Research Institute.

The new unit, which is a joint venture of Thriveni Nursing Home and Ananthapuri Hospitals, was inaugurated by V. Sivankutty, MLA on Wednesday. Modern diagnostic equipment will be put to use in the Ayurveda division too.

All facilities for Ayurveda treatment, including Panchakarma, and yoga practice will be available here.

Thirty executive suites opening to a garden have been set up in the hospital under the Ayurveda unit.
