Job fair from April 28

Kozhikode: Labour Minister, P.K.Gurudasan will inaugurate ‘Malabar Job Fest-2008,’ organised jointly by district administration and industrial training department from April 28 to 30.

The fest will be a networking channel for employers and prospective employees. Representatives of industrial enterprises from the city and outside will be present at the job fair. Mayor M. Bhaskaran will preside over the inaugural function.

Seminars, employment guidance cells, and classes on self-employment will be held on all days.

Those who have passed ITI and ITC from Kozhikode and Wayanad districts can register their names till April 26. There would be registration facilities for three days of the job fest at the Nadakkavu Government Girls VHSS.
