BASTI: A young man has been beaten to death by the family of a five-year-old girl who was allegedly raped by him in Basti district of Uttar Pradesh. According to the police, 28-year-old Manoj Kumar allegedly raped the minor girl on Wednesday night in Bhaisapandey village. The girl’s family took revenge by beating Kumar with sticks and rods. Police personnel have been deployed in the village to check any untoward incident as tension continues to prevail.
