SHIMLA: Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal has justified his son’s candidature for the upcoming Lok Sabha by-election from Hamirpur on BJP ticket and refused to call it any sort of family favouritism. Talking to media persons here on Thursday, he said his son Anurag Thakur had created his own niche in politics and done a great job in bringing Himachal into the centre-stage of Ranji Trophy cricket. Anurag Thakur has been president of the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association for a long time. The BJP State Election Committee has unanimously approved the candidature of Anurag Thakur and the central high command has endorsed the choice.
