Tiger training facility bombed: Colombo

COLOMBO: Sri Lanka’s Air Force on Thursday claimed to have bombed a “black tiger” training facility at Pannikkankulama in Mullaittiuvu district.

The Defence Ministry said at least 76 soldiers were either killed or were missing in the fierce fighting in the peninsula connecting Wanni.

At least 100 LTTE cadres, including 15 senior terrorists, and 43 soldiers were killed in fighting at Muhamalai and Kilaly.
