NEW DELHI: The Traditional Karate Federation of India (TKFI) has announced the hosting of the Euro-Asia Traditional Karate tournament here on December 3 and 4. Addressing a press conference in the Capital, the president of TKFI, Sensei Rajeev Sinha, said that a series of activities would take place apart from the Euro-Asia meet which would have three men’s events, kata, kumite and enbu. As part of the drive, Project Shakti, the TKFI plans to train more than one crore women over the next five years. There will also be an international workshop on traditional karate featuring members from Germany, Czech Republic, United Kingdom, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and host India at the Amity International School in Mayur Vihar from April 26 to 28. — Special Correspondent
