Directive to bus operators

BERHAMPUR: Ganjam district administration has ordered that all buses and mini buses plying in the district to have first aid facility for sunstroke victims.

They were directed to have ice boxes, drinking water and medicine boxes in the vehicle. They were directed to avoid over-crowding during noon. They were also asked to restrict their journeys between 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. These steps are being taken as precautionary measures against sunstroke during summer months.
