TDP leader chants unity mantra

Special Correspondent

VISAKHAPATNAM: Leaders and workers of Telugu Desam Party must put their personal differences aside and work with a single point agenda of defeating the Congress and bringing the party back to power in the elections that were less than a year away, said TDP polit bureau member and MLA Yenamala Ramakrishnudu here on Thursday.

“Our president N. Chandrababu Naidu has embarked on ‘Meekosam’ programme and we must draw inspiration from him. People are of the opinion that the TDP will win and we must make best use of it,” Mr. Ramakrishnudu said at the swearing-in of the 35-member BC Cell of the Greater Visakha unit of the party. Korada Appa Rao is president, Dadi Jagannadha Rao general secretary and Kuppili Nookaraju treasurer.

TDP State vice-president and MLA Ch. Ayyanna Patrudu, former MLAs PGVR Naidu, Palla Simhachalam and S.A. Rehaman and others spoke.
