TRS chief rejects Congress plea

HYDERABAD: The Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Thursday rejected the Congress party’s plea not to field a candidate against its candidate from Khairatabad Assembly constituency P. Vishnuvardhan Reddy on Thursday.

Mr. Reddy went to the residence of the TRS chief on Wednesday and Thursday and waited for over one hour to seek his party’s support in the byelections. But he was turned away by the partymen on the ground that Mr. Rao was busy.
