HDFC Bank declares 85% dividend

CHENNAI: HDFC Bank has declared a dividend of 85 per cent on enhanced equity capital for the year ended March 31, 2008 against 70 per cent in 2006-07. Total income has risen to Rs. 12,398.20 crore from Rs. 8,164.20 crore. The net profit was up 39.3 per cent at Rs. 1,590.20 crore. — Corporate Reporter
