Gaurav hits century

NEW DELHI: A fine century by Gaurav Chhabra and good bowling by Narender Singh helped Lal Bahadur Shastri Club score a 92-run victory over Vidhya Jain Academy in the pre-quarterfinals of the 18th all-India Om Nath Sood Memorial cricket tournament at the Roshanara Club ground here on Friday. The tournament will resume on Monday after two days of rest.

The scores: Lal Bahadur Shastri CC 255 for six in 40 overs (Gaurav Chhabra 107, Vartik Tihara 59) bt Vidhya Jain Academy 163 in 30.3 overs (Narender Singh four for 25).
