D.V. Subba Rao to be felicitated tomorrow

VISAKHAPTNAM: The former Mayor and ex-chairman of the Bar Council of India, D.V. Subba Rao, will be felicitated here on Sunday on his successful completion of 50 years at the Bar. The function will be held at VUDA Children Theatre from 10 a.m.

A host of dignitaries, comprising judges of Supreme Court – Satyabrata Sinha and Sudershan Reddy – and High Court Judges G. Raghuram, V.V.S. Rao and P.P. Rao will attend the function. The former Vice-Chancellor of BRAOU, R.V.R. Chandrasekhar Rao, Principal District Judge of Visakhapatnam N.R.L. Nageswara Rao, Chairman of Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh A. Narasimha Reddy, Director of Centre for Policy Studies A. Prasanna Kumar and other senior members from the legal fraternity will also be present. The council will also host a seminar on the role, responsibility and importance of lawyers at Hotel Taj Residency on Saturday.
