Newborn found abandoned

NEW DELHI: A newborn girl was found abandoned in Ranjit Nagar here on Thursday.

The police received a call around 11 p.m. informing that a baby was lying abandoned near B-Block of DDA flats. The baby, around three hours old, was admitted to Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hospital.

A case has been registered under Section 317 (abandonment of child by parents) and hunt launched for the girl’s parents.
