Constable recruitment

VIZIANAGARAM: The response to recruitment for 130 civil, 82 Armed Reserve and 34 women constable posts was good. Some 4,800 filled-in applications out of 8,775 sold were received till the close of sale and receipt of the same on Saturday. The preliminary qualifying test of 5-km run for men would be conducted from Ramavaram to the Police Barracks here from April 28 to May 8. For women, the 2.5-km run would be conducted on May 4, Superintendent of Police Vikram Singh Mann said in a press release.
