CRIME SPOT: The place where the body of the youth was dumped. PUDUCHERRY: The probe into the April 21 murder of a French national revealed that his son found missing since November 2007 was also murdered. The Grand Bazaar police said the accused in the murder of Rajaram admitted to having killed Rajini (30) on November 23, 2007 with a view to grabbing Rajaram’s property. The key accused, Perumal Raj, a nephew of Rajaram, told the police that after he and his accomplice Ramesh murdered Rajini, they dumped the body into the sump in his house on Mission Street. Coming to know that Rajaram was coming down for vocation, the duo pulled the body out of the sump on April 10 and stuffed it into a sack after cutting it into pieces and abandoned the decomposed remains at the Uppar drain near Upplam. The police on Saturday recovered the remains from the Uppar drain. The accused were produced before a local court, which remanded them in judicial custody. The police are searching for four others involved in the murder of Rajaram.
