KOLLAM: District Collector A. Shajahan will inaugurate the Kollam chapter of the Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth (SPICMACAY) at a function to be held on April 27 here. At the inaugural function acharya of the Chinmaya Seva Trust’s Kerala region Swamy Viviktananda, will light the traditional lamp to bless the new chapter. President of the Chinaya Mission, Kollam, K. Raveendranathan Nair, said that SPICMACAY is a service oriented organisation standing for the welfare of the youth. Violin maestro T.N. Krishnan would be the chief guest at the inaugural function and would deliver a lecture and demonstration at the function. —Staff Reporter
