India sweeps series

CHENNAI: India swept the three-match throwball Test match series against Sri Lanka 3-0 in the junior and sub-junior section which was held here. Having won the first and second Tests, India recorded facile wins in the third Test also.

In the boys junior match India won 15-10, 07-15, 15-07 and in the girls sub-junior match India’s winning score was 15-10, 15-11.

W.I. Davaram, President, Tamil Nadu Athletic Association was the chief guest and gave away the prizes.
