Nazareth: Sports Authority of India, Chennai, lifted the Canon Margoschis Memorial Trophy defeating Chennai Football Association Youth team 7-6 via sudden death in the final of the State-level football tournament at Nazareth on Saturday. At the end of regulation time, the teams were locked goalless. In the tie-breaker the teams scored four goals each. In the tie-breaker, Ilamurugan, Pradeep, Vinothkumar, Siva scored for SAI. Sasikumar, Venkatesan, Rajesh Kumar and Rajan scored for Chennai Youth team. In the sudden death, Ravichandran, Chinniah, Bino Godly scored for SAI. Wayne, Karthik scored and Augustine Babu missed for the loser. Hat-trick by GabrielSix goals, including a hat-trick, by Gabriel helped Redeem FC thrash Senthilkumar FC 10-0 in the MDFA ‘C’ division league at Madurai on Saturday.
