331 candidates to slug it out in Bangalore

Bangalore: As many as 331 candidates are in the fray for the 28 Assembly constituencies here — 21 in Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike and seven in Bangalore Urban electoral districts — elections to which will be held on May 10.

While Padmanabhanagar and Rajajinagar constituencies in the BBMP electoral district have the highest number of candidates (18 each), Bommanahalli and C.V. Raman Nagar have the lowest (six each). In Bangalore Urban, Byatarayanapura has the highest number of candidates (16) and Dasarahalli the lowest (six). The constituency-wise list of candidates is as follows:
