SALEM: The Tamil Nadu State AIDS Control Society in association with All India Radio is conducting a phone-in programme on HIV/AIDS from April 22. The programme is broadcast simultaneously from eight All India Radio stations from 1 p.m. to 1.30 p.m. on every Tuesday. The programme is being re-broadcast at 8 p.m. to 8.30 on every Friday. Experts will answer the queries raised by the people on AIDS prevention and control, a press release said. Summer training programmeThe Jawahar Children’s Club will conduct a 15-day summer training programme from May 1.The participants will be trained in vocal, bharathanatyam, yoga, silambam, sewing, drawing, gymnastic and folk dance. Children aged between 5 and 16 are eligible. Children can register their names at the club functioning on the Government Music School premises in Fairlands from May 1. A registration fee of Rs. 50 will be collected.
