Two Naxals held, explosives found

Giridih: Two Maoists were on Saturday arrested and landmine, detonators recovered in a combing operation near Parasnath in Jharkhand’s Giridih district, a senior police officer said here.

Superintendent of Police, M L Meena, told newsmen that the security forces apprehended the two Naxalites identified as Manoj Chaudhary and H. Singh.

The two were involved in extremist activists, including looting of police weapons in Madhupur.
